Andrew Roughley Independent Funeral Directors are the only Independent Funeral Service in Maghull and Aintree. Andrew and the team of caring and experienced staff are focused on supporting families through the loss of their loved ones and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with no call centre.


Our aim to provide the highest level of personal service and care to every family, ensuring that the unique needs and wishes of every family are met and provided for.


We are committed to ensuring that the same caring funeral director who arranges the funeral with the family will co-ordinate all aspects of the ceremony and will take care of all of the family’s needs. That person will always look after the family from their first contact with them.

A Message From Andrew
I have been a Funeral Director since 2006, a role I truly cherish, offering help and guidance to many through a troubled and traumatic time. Having worked in the role of Funeral Director for the multinational Dignity Funerals Ltd for many years before transferring to Graham Clegg Funeral Service, Maghull when it was an independent funeral service, before it was taken over by the multinational Funeral Partners Ltd. After 18 months of working under their control, both myself and all the team wanted to return to a family run Funeral Directors and the traditional values that we all felt were important and ensure that the families we look after are treated with the utmost respect and dignity rather than driven by money and profit.

Now, as an Independent in the heart of Maghull and with the expert assistance of four of my former colleagues, we would like to offer a more personal approach with the main focus being on you, the family.
